As SEWA has increasingly
developed its membership and programs in rural areas, it has become critical to design
training programs geared towards the organizers and members in these areas. These programs
facilitate women’s involvement in income-generating activities such as crafts, salt
farming, and diary farming. These training programs address marketing and technical
skills. Two full-time Academy trainers stay and live in the village/district for the
duration of the course.
