Sewa Movement / Basic Leadership Training
The
movement training course is given to members who have the ability and if trained could
become good leaders or Aagevans. The SEWA Movement Training prepares leaders with
good qualities of a good leader that help them to speak publicly, lead meetings, and
present problems or concerns of the village to government officials. They are now able to
understand and give self- introduction in meetings and even express their feeling after
taking this training. They understand the importance and meaning of Gandhian philosophy
and values like Sarva Dharma, Asprushyata, Truth and non-violence, which are values of
Sewa too.

As a result of the
training, many womens self-concept and vision of the world changes significantly.
Women, who were once timid, become more assertive and articulate and are increasingly
aware of their own problems and options. Thus by training a women member becomes capable
enough to come up to the top, holding position in the executive committee.
